An Evolving Exercise in Organic Living & Sustainable Agriculture … or Vice Versa

We are helping a friend of ours, Dr. Douglas Davis, begin the initial phases of developing his property on the outskirts of Oxford, MS into a working sustainable  small-scale farm. There are ambitions to perhaps become a CSA eventually, with the emphasis on planting, growing and producing organically, but the short term goal is to have a crop planted this spring in order to participate in the two weekly local farmers’ markets – one in nearby Taylor, MS and the other right in Oxford.

Organic Mothers

After a successful natural birth and quick transition into motherhood, Alison has become passionate about women’s rights in childbirth and has continued to learn more about alternatives to the status quo in modern medical practices.  This site will allow her to share what she learns, provide information on topics varying from pregnancy to childcare and act as a jumping point for further critical analysis into what is becoming more and more of a significant social justice issue in our society.
